Time to Run
How do I put my Chip On?
- Your timing chip is a MyLaps BibTag
- It's a disposable timing chip that stays on your race number. To ensure you receive an accurate time, the BibTag must be correctly worn.
- Your race number must be worn clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Pin all four corners of your race number to the outermost garment
- Always keep your race number visible; do not remove or cover with a jacket
- Do not wear your race number on your back, your side, or around your arm or leg
- Do not excessively bend or twist the BibTag
- Do not separate the BibTag from the race number
- Do not attach beside or under a metal zipper: metal weakens the signal
- Do not cover your race number with your hand or arm when crossing the finish line: runners often do this when checking their watch when crossing the finish line
- Always remember the mat must 'see' your race number when you cross the finish line
